The app needs UI help

In the notification screen why is the username section not inline with the @ or ❤️ symbol? Why even have the @ column at all? Seems like wasted space.

The photo crop is the mastodon default one so it ruins portrait photos and creates. A weird zoomed in version of landscapes.

The action bar at the bottom of the screen seems to have a lot of unused space at the bottom and with it always being on top I rather have that space to see posts.

Also when scrolling it seems to stutter.
